GLASA Research & Development Training Fund (2021 - now closed)

This fund is dedicated to supporting our members’ professional development by providing a reimbursement opportunity for fees associated with research training and/or professional development. Members who have enrolled in professional or academic training courses, or who are attending workshops, summer schools, or conferences as an attendee are eligible to apply for this fund. This opportunity is open to all GLASA members and partial reimbursement will be offered based on an equal distribution of funds divided between eligible applicants. Additional reimbursement may be available pending the availability of funds. Some short research-related courses you might want to consider are non-credit courses offered by Institute for Social Research at York University and NVivo Academy. However, courses offered by other institutions on a topic relevant to your professional or research interest are also eligible. Please use this form to complete your application. Please note that for virtual events, funding should only be requested for registration costs. Pending the number of applicants and size of requests, full reimbursement may not be possible.
